Cultivating Mindful Intentions for a Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

As January once again brings us a new year, open yourself to consciously embrace a new beginning, and to make a mindful effort to replenish, renew and refocus.

January is officially wellness month, and this makes our hearts sing. Let’s kick it off together with new and intentional wellness goals. Instead of creating a slew of unrealistic typical New Year’s resolutions, let’s decide to simply help ourselves become better versions of who we already are—to mindfully cultivate a higher sense of purpose and direction within our souls.

(Should you feel so inclined to create a list, consider these amazing resolutions for the soul!)

We encourage you to remember that it’s more important to have mindful intentions and consistently live by them, than to commit yourself to changes that won’t last unless you are fully ready. This January, try repeating the following mantra each day with loving intention:

  • I want a joyful, energetic body.
  • I want a loving, compassionate heart.
  • I want a restful, alert mind.
  • I want lightness of being.

Take this opportunity to assess who you really are, and follow your life mission to fulfill your destiny as an enlightened, kind, gentle human being, not only to others, but also to yourself! 2017 will be your year of self-care and to claim your true self. Focus on a kind internal dialogue, improved sleep hygiene, and consideration, generosity, and love for your fellow earth dwellers.

On January 28th from 12pm to 6pm, spend an afternoon with our very own Kara and Beth, who will guide you through various forms of yoga practices, discussions, guided meditation, crafting vision boards (with all materials supplied) and more. We’ll be serving tea, water and healthy eats throughout the afternoon.

Share this with your girlfriends, mothers, daughters (best for ages 12 and up), neighbours and coworkers. Registration begins January 1st, either online or in our studio. The all-inclusive fee for this is $99 plus tax, and space is extremely limited, so you’ll need to sign up quickly. (A website description of the workshop can be found HERE.)
