5 Reasons Why YOU Should Come to Yoga Teacher Training

What, you? Yes, YOU! If you love yoga, consider taking part in our upcoming yoga teacher training program. There are countless reasons why you should participate, but we’ll give you five:

Learn Some New Moves

Yes, you can do this without going through yoga teacher training, but there is NO WAY you will learn this well and this fast without the training environment. Think about it: yoga teacher training is specifically geared towards education, experimentation, and explanation. You learn fast in an environment that is safe and encouraging.

And that was a paragraph with a lot of ‘e’s.

Challenge Your Body

Speaking of challenge, your body is super receptive when put into a situation of expectation and guidance. You’ll be learning brand new postures and poses and how to execute them properly, and you’ll be surrounded by others who are learning, too. There’s no judgement here—only the desire to learn and be taught.

This is your chance to challenge your body and see what you’re made of.

Boost Your Confidence

If you attend yoga regularly, you already know that feeling of trying something new and succeeding, and you love it. Right?  Whether it be a challenging balance pose or finally being able to push your heels fully to the floor in downward dog, there’s a definite feeling of pride associated with mastering something new in yoga.

So imagine mastering 5, 10, or even 15 poses during yoga teacher training? The confidence that an accomplishment like that can bring you, will feed your soul.

Examine and Explore Your Spiritual Side

Which brings us to just that—your soul. When you take the time to examine and explore your spiritual side, you reap the rewards by becoming happier, healthier, and more in tune with your body and mind. We are spiritual beings, and allowing yourself to explore that spirituality during yoga teacher training is an amazing gift.

Because everyone else who’s participating in the program is exploring their soul, too. Everyone is in the same mind frame, and the love and acceptance that flows during this type of event is not to be missed.

Discover Your Fellow Yogi Spirits

We all have our own biological families, but yoga families—the kind of group you adopt when you discover you’re all united spirits—these are a different breed. To practice with others who share your core through pose after pose is another type of gift altogether, and who wouldn’t want to be part of that?!

The Opportunity

Aside from the 5 reasons above, there’s the obvious employment one (yep–I guess we’re giving you 6): yoga teacher training allows you to become a registered yoga teacher, and provides opportunities for self-employment, or part or full-time employment within an existing studio.

We all have a master yogi within us—unleash yours.
